Bearings are an important part of mechanical equipment. In order to prolong the service life of bearings, attention should be paid to anti-rust and anti-corrosion during use. Today Langche Bearing shares some dry goods for bearing rust prevention.

Surface pretreatment method of rust-prevented object:

1. Surface cleaning: The cleaning method must be selected according to the nature of the surface of the anti-rust object and the conditions at that time. Commonly used are solvent cleaning method, chemical treatment cleaning method and mechanical cleaning method.

2. After the surface is dry and cleaned, it can be dried with filtered dry compressed air, or dried with a dryer at 120~170 °C, or dried with a clean gauze.

How to apply rust preventive oil

1. Immersion method: usually used for some small bearings, immersed in anti-rust grease, the desired oil film thickness can be achieved by controlling the temperature or viscosity of the anti-rust grease, and the surface of the bearing can be adhered to a layer by soaking Anti-rust grease to prevent rust.

2. Brushing method: It is used for outdoor construction equipment or special-shaped products that are not suitable for immersion or spraying. When brushing, attention should be paid not only to avoid accumulation, but also to prevent leakage.

3. Spraying method: Some large bearings cannot be oiled by immersion method. Generally, the compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7Mpa is used for spraying in a clean air place. The spray method is suitable for solvent-diluted anti-rust oil or thin-layer anti-rust oil, but perfect fire protection and labor protection measures must be adopted.

Bearing packaging is rust-proof

1. Vapor-phase anti-rust packaging, the commonly used materials are anti-rust bags and anti-rust paper. Under the condition of good sealing, it can provide bearings for several years of anti-rust period.

The vapor-phase anti-rust material can volatilize anti-rust gas at room temperature, and the gas protective layer formed after being adsorbed on the bearing surface can effectively prevent the corrosion of the bearing by oxygen and water vapor. The anti-rust gas is pervasive and can cover the entire surface of the bearing to provide comprehensive and effective anti-rust for the bearing. If the package is airtight, the concentration of the anti-rust gas is maintained at a high level, and the anti-rust period can reach several years.

2. Bearing packaging will also use coated paper, carton, polyethylene film, nylon bag, aluminum foil bag, etc. The specific selection of packaging materials is related to factors such as bearing material, process, transportation and storage environment, and rust-proof cycle. As far as the rust-proof cycle is concerned, there are the following three situations:

Short-term rust prevention: The rust prevention period is 3 to 6 months. It is suitable for bearings that are to be put into use in large quantities and in a short period of time. Generally, plastic bags or gas-phase rust-proof bags are used.

General anti-rust period: anti-rust period of 6-12 months, suitable for general-purpose bearings. Generally, vapor-phase anti-rust bags, vapor-phase anti-rust papers, desiccants, etc. are used.

Long-term anti-rust packaging: anti-rust period of one to three years, suitable for special and precision bearings. Generally, anti-rust oil, gas-phase anti-rust bag, anti-rust paper, etc. are used.
