Both the outer ring and the normal inner ring of the bearing are important parts of rolling bearings. Bearing ring processing procedure 1: centralized procedure


The centralized process of bearing rings can complete the turning of one or several rings in only one process.


The processing characteristics of the centralized process are:


1. Most or all of the turning operations can be completed in one clamping cycle, which reduces the positioning error of the ferrule and the auxiliary time of the clamping and positioning, improves the positional and dimensional accuracy between the surfaces of the ferrule, and increases the productivity.


If the medium and small ferrules are produced in batches, 2~3 ferrules can be turned out at a time on a multi-axis automatic lathe.


2. The process flow is shortened, the intermediate storage, loading and unloading, and transportation links are reduced, which is convenient for production management; and the amount of machine tools and tools is reduced.


3. It is beneficial to realize automation and mass production, shorten the production cycle and reduce the production cost.


4. The centralized process has higher requirements on lathes, tools, fixtures and auxiliary tools and other process equipment and workpiece blanks.


For example, it requires a small amount of blanks and high dimensional accuracy, and also requires stricter surface quality such as metallographic structure and hardness; the lathe is required to have greater power, rigidity, higher machining accuracy and degree of automation.


5. There are many types and quantities of centralized process technology equipment, strong specificity, troublesome to replace the model, difficult and time-consuming to adjust.


6. The centralized process processing of bearing rings requires higher technical level of workers and requires reasonable production organization and management.



Bearing ring processing procedure 2: dispersion procedure


The bearing ring dispersion process means that it takes several clampings to complete the turning of a ring.


The processing characteristics of the dispersion process are:


1. It is suitable for the installation of small batches and single-piece production of SKF bearing housings for medium and large motors. Easy to organize production, simple and economical lathes and fixtures, easy to replace bearing models, and low cost. If a single machine is connected into an automatic line, it is also suitable for mass production.


2. It can be processed by a high-efficiency special lathe with good rigidity and high power, which is convenient for selecting the best process parameters. It can be cut with high-speed and large-pass cutting, which improves the processing efficiency.


3. For a single machine, it can realize automatic loading and unloading, automatic knife feeding and automatic measurement. The machine tool is easy to operate, and the technical requirements for workers are not high.


4. The requirements for ring blanks are not high, and blanks of various forms, sizes, new and old codes, sizes, specifications and parameters of domestic bearings and imported bearings can be adapted to different batches of precision.


5. There are many processes in the dispersion process, and the process route is long, the processing time and the time for storage, transportation, inspection and loading and unloading between processes are long, and a ferrule needs to go through multiple machines, multiple processes, multiple clamping and positioning, and multiple operations. and inspection, the positioning error is large and the machining accuracy is poor. It increases the consumption of human, financial, material and energy.
