As we all know, the maintenance of bearings is very important, and maintenance of bearings is related to its service life and work efficiency. Today Langche Bearing will share how to maintain deep groove ball bearings.

Bearings can theoretically be used for 20,000 to 80,000 hours, but the specific life depends on wear and work intensity during use. In order to make the deep groove ball bearing give full play to its performance and maintain its proper performance for a long time, the deep groove ball bearing must be regularly maintained.

First, check maintenance regularly:

1. The bearings are strictly replaced on a regular basis, and the replacement cycle can be reasonably set according to the hard conditions of the bearing.

2. Strictly check the use of new bearings, such as: whether the packaging (instruction manual, certificate of conformity, etc.) is in good condition, whether the logo (manufacturer's name, model) is clear, and whether the appearance (rust, damage, etc.) is good.

3. After the new bearing has been inspected, it is not necessary to clean it under normal conditions, but the bearing cover and bearing must be cleaned before the oil is changed.

Cleaning and maintenance of deep groove ball bearings:

Cleaning is divided into coarse cleaning and fine cleaning.

1. First clean the bearing surface, then remove the bearing for inspection. Note that the oil seal is a very easily damaged part, so please do not apply too much force when inspecting and disassembling the parts. You can record the appearance by video and other methods, measure the remaining lubricant, and then start to clean the bearing.

2. When rough washing the bearing, use a brush and other tools in the oil (cleaning agent) to remove the sticking matter. When brushing, follow the same direction. Pay special attention when rotating, as foreign matter will damage the rolling surface.

3. After rough washing, switch to static washing. During static washing, slowly rotate the bearing, rotate in all directions, and carefully clean the inside of the deep groove ball bearing.

4. After the bearing is cleaned, pay attention to check the clearance. If the ball or roller frame is severely worn, corroded, or metal peeling, it needs to be replaced.

5. After cleaning and inspection, the bearing needs to be lubricated, and an appropriate amount of qualified grease should be added. Be careful not to add different greases to the same bearing type, and do not add too much grease.
